Last year I played the award winning board game, Wingspan for the first time. I follow several board game YouTube channels, blogs and often check into the board games subreddit /r/boardgames.
If you’re familiar with modern board games you’ll know how simple yet deep Wingspan is. It’s intricate offering several different paths to victory allowing players to freely take their turns to achieve victory.
Looking back at my first playthrough of Wingspan, I wish I could replay the board game with fresh eyes and no pre-knowledge of what is to come. Simply go in blind and enjoy the game.
The feeling of wanting to experience a game for the first time is true for many folk, right? I’d love to go back and play through several games for the first time such as Pandemic Legacy, or even Taluva, a game of quality, exploration and fiery deaths.
That leads me to ask TLM readers, which board game (or video game) so good, that you wish you could experience it again for the first time? Let’s hear about those about all the great memories everyone has!
